Tango Soul was founded in Toronto in 2000 by Bryant Lopez, and then joind by Faye
Lavin. Both are internationally renowned dancers of traditional Argentine Tango. Their vision was to mount authentic Argentine Tango stage productions incorporating theatre, music and dance and to teach Argentine Tango by the same authentic methods used in Buenos Aires.
That vision has now been realized. As professional dancers, performers, and choreographers, Bryant and Faye regularly create their own original work and produce custom shows for professional theatres, as well as for corporate events, weddings and private functions. Their Tango Soul Academy has become well known for its authentic teaching methods and offers instruction for people of all ages.
