Maria Vella, grew up in the hospitality industry from planning events with her mother in the family catering business to now planning weddings and events for over eight years. After helping build the family catering business with hosting numerous events and being a bridesmaid way too many times she declared her love for weddings. She has now a certification in wedding coordinating and is WPIC certified (The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada) and working as a Senior Sales Manager at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in planning events for over 12 years.
As the founder of Thee Wedding now known as Maria Vella, she has dedicated herself in making Maria Vella into a full service event planning company. She starts off most mornings checking her emails even before getting out of bed and then off jogging. In the early evening, there is a possibility you will catch her sipping an Americano at Starbucks while working away on her computer, or reading up on recent wedding fashion trends and of course playing on Pinterest. She works hard, with two full time careers so that she can enjoy the guilty pleasures in life.
Maria Vella approaches each event with a blank slate, knowing her clients as individuals, to deliver impeccable events. As an event planning company Maria Vella will assist you with all aspects of the planning process from start to finish. There is no single approach to the prefect dress, the perfect ceremony, the perfect reception. Getting married the way you have always dreamed of is what Maria strive to help you realize and fulfill.
