Compania Carmen Romero School of Flamenco Dance Arts is directed by award winning flamenco dance artist Carmen Romero, known for her passion and dedication to the art form and her students for over twenty years. Classes are offered to adults and children and people of all walks of life. Learn to dance, sing, play castanets, percussion or flamenco guitar.
Also, you can sample other cultural arts as there are classes in ballroom, belly dance and tap.
Fun social video nights, parties and discussions happen at the studio as well.

Carmen Romero starting teaching at the age of 19 to an ad hoc group of teen agers.
Over the course of a years adults started to join the classes. Once class then turned to two classes and within a few years Carmen started to create unique and specific programming which became her corner stone in teaching flamenco.
Carmen Romero teaches flamenco as a language. Students learn about music and song and how dance interprets song and manipulates music. This is more than a series of steps. The school started out as teaching dance classes and now twenty years later includes classes on musical communication, learning the choreographic process, performance craft as well as playing and instrument.
You do not need to be spanish, or a professional nor do you need to aspire to be a professional. The training and instruction, however, is the same for recreational students or those that aspire to go a professional route.
The school had developed over 50 professional artists.
