The Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency/critical care and specialty hospital dedicated to providing excellent medical care to all animals entrusted to our care. Located in Scarborough, we serve the entire GTA area and surrounding regions. We focus on providing the best possible care for all patients, and ensuring excellent communication with our clients and referring veterinarians.
Our Emergency Hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, handling unexpected trauma, illness and injury. No appointment is required for emergency patients. Our ER is staffed at all times by highly skilled, compassionate doctors and technicians capable of handling the most complicated and demanding pet emergencies. Surgeons and internists are on call to provide advanced surgery, ultrasound, or other specialized procedures.
Our Referral Hospital is open during regular business hours, and accepts referral cases from your family veterinarian by appointment only. Our specialists work as an extension of your veterinarian to provide second opinions and advanced care in a wide range of disciplines including Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Cardiology, Anesthesia, Rehabilitation and Diagnostic Imaging.
TVEH does not provide general veterinary services such as annual physical examinations, routine spay/neuter or vaccination
