Owner Nicky Diaz brings an understanding of and deep connection with animals that comes from a childhood and young adulthood spent working alongside her uncles who are vets and breeders. About A Dog (AAD) helps humans make better connections with their dogs, and gives four-legged clients the best walking, training, daycare and in-home boarding experience possible.
Most walks are in a pack – off-leash at one of Toronto’s fenced dog parks or on a leashed leadership walk. AAD also makes house calls to walk dogs with special behavioural or physical needs. And when it comes to persnickety pooches, Nicky’s happy to work with the animal (and their human) to iron out the problem through her training services.

1. SAFETY
We practice safe walks. All our walkers are Pet First Aid certified, licensed, bonded and insured. Our dogs are our babies, and we wouldn’t trust them with anyone else.
2. KNOWLEDGE
We’ve got K-9 know-how. GPS tracking, photos and pup-dates keep you in the loop and tell you if Rover pooped.
3. ACCOUNTABILITY
We’re accountabull(dog). Our pet software safely stores your details and ensures services happen on schedule.
4. EXPERIENCE
We’ve been doing this since the day we were bone! From working alongside Mexican vets and breeders, to pet-sitting L.A.’s poshest pooches to caring for Canadian canines at Toronto daycares and groomers… owner Nicky Diaz brings decades of experience to our team’s training.
