The first step of the installation is to clean the surface of the ground area. I do this by using a trimmer to cut down all the grass and weeds from the area. When this is completed I will be able to see the dirt.
The second step is to till/grade the area. Doing this will bring fresh soil to the surface. I do this by using a gas Honda tiller. For front lawns often we don’t till as deep as the backyard because often cable lines are present.
For an additional fee of $80 per cubic yard, we can deliver and lay fresh Top soil or Triple Mix to the sodding area. 1 yard is a light coat for 500 square feet of area.
After we press the area to ensure the area is leveled. While doing this step we consider the proper level to ensure water drainage is away from the house.
The final step is to lay the grass. This step is done by doing a brick pattern to piece every piece together. We only use Farm Fresh Kentucky Blue Grass Sod cut the same morning we do your property.
Installing new grass can increase your house value as much as 15%
