HELLO! I’M MEGHAN D’ARCY, AN INDEPENDENT TORONTO DOG WALKER AND PET SITTER WITH OVER 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PROFESSIONAL PET CARE.
I’ve been offering pet care for a good part of my life. When I was a teenager I ran my own little dog walking business in Lawrence Park to save money for university. Here I am over ten years later doing the same thing that I love…
I’ve been involved with the Toronto Humane Society for many years in several different capacities: as a high school co-op student, foster care volunteer, in a paid role as an animal intake/adoptions administrator, as the adoptive owner of an elderly cat and dog and as a volunteer dog walker for 3 years. From August 2012 to June 2013 I worked for Barks’n’Purrs and gained a great deal of experience in professional dog walking.
Being a dog walker comes naturally to me and I love it! I’m a highly-positive, high-energy person and I thrive on the lifestyle.
I’m committed to positive reinforcement based training principles that I’ve learned through professional trainers including Nicole Wilde, Karen Pryor, Jean Donaldson, Chirag Patel, Dr. Sophia Yin and Pat Miller.
